A "Plug-In" Neighborhood
Master Planned Amenities in Stone Lakes
Located on the south side of Southlake Boulevard just east of Carroll Senior High School, the Stone Lakes neighborhood is instantly recognizable by the 10 acre lake that is the centerpiece of the subdivision. Stone Lakes is a master planned community made up of about 330 homes situated on lots that typically range from .3 to .74 acres. Sidewalks throughout the neighborhood lead past the community pool, cabana, playground, and tennis courts. There is also a basketball court.
The majority of homes in Stone Lakes were built by David Weekley Homes and Drees Homes between 1992 and 1997, and most all homes offer a 3 car garage. The neighborhood is served by the Carroll ISD, specifically Carroll Elementary School, which is located next to the southwest of the neighborhood on Continental Avenue.
Neighborhood Activities in Stone Lakes
Stone Lakes is what I call a "plug-in" neighborhood. Homebuyers will be oriented into the community by the Welcoming Committee, though neighborhood kids will surely come knocking on the door first, eager to see if there are any new playmates. There are activities for all ages in Stone Lakes ranging from children's playgroups, "Mom's Night Out" groups, Bunco groups and both morning and evening Book Clubs. Annual events in Stone Lakes revolve around major holidays, including an Easter Egg Hunt in spring, the always popular 4th of July parade, and Christmas. -Cindy
