Tudor, Country French and Tuscan Designs
Located near the center of Southlake, the Shady Oaks neighborhood is just north of Southlake Boulevard off Shady Oaks Road. Construction of custom estate style homes began in 2011, and the neighborhood was included in the Southlake Tour of Homes.
The Shady Oaks Addition then received an unexpected burst of energy when new home builders Standard Pacific and Toll Brothers were allowed to buy out the remaining half to three-quarter acre lots from the developer a few years later. Toll Brothers builds throughout the Southlake and Colleyville area with neighborhoods like Whittier Heights and The Overlook. Standard Pacific Homes, which underwent a business merger and became known as CalAtlantic Homes, also built new homes in Shady Oaks. Their contribution to the local real estate landscape includes Southlake's Winding Creek, and Turnberry in Trophy Club. Toll Brothers completed new home construction on their remaining lots in early 2016, while Standard Pacific (CalAtlantic) moved into a new and final phase later that same year.
The Tuscan, Country French and Tudor style homes in Shady Oaks range from about 4500-6500 square feet. Neighborhood home owners love the fact that they are an easy walk to Southlake's premier Bicentennial Park facilities. Students living in Shady Oaks attend the Carroll ISD. -Cindy
