Master Planned

Sendera Ranch - As Big As Texas

Haslet's Sendera Ranch is one of the largest Master Planned communities in the Metroplex. Consisting of around 3000 acres and a planned 9000 single family homes, Sendera Ranch will see new construction for many years. The neighborhood is located between Highway 287 and I-35, south of Highway 114. Originally started in 2004, major draws for the neighborhood include convenience to the Alliance Corridor as well as the outstanding Northwest School District campuses located within the Sendera Ranch community. If you're a home buyer looking for amenities, you won't be disappointed here. There's a spray park for the littler ones in addition to a large beach style entrance pool. If you like sports there is a basketball court, roller hockey rink and sports field. Or you could just talk a walk around the scenic lake with waterfall or hike along the miles of paved trails that cover over 200 acres of greenbelts. You'll even find pocket parks and playgrounds scattered around the neighborhood. If you'd like to find a planned community in the Northwest ISD, Sendera Ranch is well worth a look.

So where is Sendera Ranch, anyway?

Haslet? North Fort Worth?  It depends on who you ask...  Homeowners, and most others, consider Sendera Ranch to be in Haslet.  Residents pay taxes to the city of Fort Worth, and live in Denton county.  The neighborhood offers the quiet, small town charm of Haslet while still being convenient to all the North Fort Worth / Alliance Corridor offers.  Located within easy access to I-35W, 114 and 287 residents can reach the area's newest employment and shopping centers with ease.

Conveniently located in the Alliance Corridor, Sendera Ranch also offers families the attraction of sending their children to Northwest I.S.D. schools – including two elementary schools and one middle school located within the community.

Sendera Ranch Neighborhood Amenities

A full 200 acres of Sendera Ranch land is committed to the enjoyment of residents.  There are several pools plus a kiddie spray park in the neighborhood, as well as a roller hockey rink, tennis, volleyball and basketball court, and a covered pergola surrounded by BBQ grills and picnic tables. Like most planned communities in the area, Sendera Ranch also offers miles of greenbelts and parks; many lead to or circle the neighborhood lake and waterfall.  Residents often spend cooler evenings enjoying the view of the lake fountains visible from many parts of the neighborhood.

Home Styles and Home Builders in Sendera Ranch

Started in 2004, Sendera Ranch has seen a wide variety of new home builders in the various phases. The size of the neighborhood means many different home builders have brought their floor plans to the addition. That's a good thing for homeowners in the addition as the available plans are constantly changing and always on trend as new home builder compete for new home buyers' attention.

Home buyers considering Sendera Ranch have plenty of choices. Folks deciding to call Sendera Ranch home find they have the usual 50' builder lot offerings to decide between, as well as residences on 1/2 acre lots or larger. Homes in the neighborhood range in size from about 1300 sq. feet and run all the way up to around 4700 sq. feet.

Education in Sendera Ranch

Perhaps the biggest draw for home buyers in Sendera Ranch has been the NISD. The well respected district offers up 3 schools within the community. Some children will attend JC Thompson Elementary and others, depending on location in the neighborhood, will attend Sendera Ranch Elementary. Wilson Middle school and Northwest High are in the feeder pattern as well.
