Focused on the Vision

Future Ready Students

Despite it's growth the Northwest school system seems to have avoided the pitfalls many expanding districts experience and continues to keep its schools "future ready".

Northwest's vision centers around being the best and most sought-after school district with every student ready for personal success across each of the 18 elementary schools, six middle schools, three comprehensive high schools, and one accelerated high school. NISD is committed to providing future ready opportunities for all students with a commitment to post-academic success.

We definitely lucked out when we bought our first house in the Northwest school district area. We didn't have kids, so schools weren't even on our radar, but Cindy kept telling us that the schools would help resale, and that we'd be really happy with the schools if we did ever need them. Then, two kids later, we needed a bigger house. It turns out being in NISD worked out in our favor again. We didn't want to leave the district and it turns out we didn't have to because there is such a wide choice of homes to move up to. Thanks, Cindy!
