A Unique Atmosphere
The Appealing Lifestyle offered in Home Town
"Home Town"... The name says a lot about the neighborhood located on the south east corner of Mid-Cities Boulevard and Davis/1938 in North Richland Hills. The distinctive architecture plus unique layout of Home Town evoke the community feel of days gone by. Homes are sited around a central park with gazebo and feature "community friendly" front porches.
A wide variety of home sizes and styles include Cape Cod, Garden and Cobblestone homes. Hometown features a 25 acre park system in addition to eight acres of lakes, waterfalls and fountains. There are jogging trails along the mews and even a two acre urban forest.
Home Town originally broke ground in 1999 as a 333 acre mixed use development and is home to North Richland Hill's public library and NRH Centre, the city's state of the art recreation center. The addition saw a spurt of new growth when, in the summer of 2013, plans were laid out for around 75 additional new single-family homes made up of about 30 row homes, 19 cottage style (zero lot line) homes plus 27 garden homes.
Arcadia, the original developer of Home Town is overseeing this newer growth, and has additional phases planned. David Weekley Homes, one of the original builders in the addition, returned in the spring of 2016 as well with HomeTown Cottage and HomeTown Garden. The list of homes on this page also includes those 37 home sites in the 7.3 acre community off Parker Boulevard being built primarily by Peyton Thomas Homes known as The Villas at Home Town as well as the garden homes under construction by American Life Homes in the Pleasant Dreams Addition. Stay tuned... There's more to come in Home Town. -Cindy
