Quiet and Intimate Glen Forest in Keller

An intimate little neighborhood of just under 100 homes, Keller's Glen Forest neighborhood offers up what many people think of when they think of homes for sale in Keller; true custom homes on large lots.  Lot sizes in Glen Forest are usually right at 1/2 acre, though there are a few a bit larger or smaller. Neighborhood homes were constructed by local custom builders in the mid to late '90's (though there were a few "late comers" found in the north east corner of the addition), so expect upscale appointments and trim including deep base and crown moldings, high ceilings, luxury master baths and gourmet kitchens.

These properties are bit older than homes in many of the volume neighborhoods of Keller. But most Glen Forest homeowners have kept current with the trends and updated accordingly. There's only one way in and out of the neighborhood, and that's past the stone waterfall entrance you'll see on Village Trail just north of Shady Grove Elementary.

There is a home owners association in place to care for the entry waterfall as well as the flagpole and marker erected in 2015 to honor fallen Army Staff Sargent Alex Viola who grew up in the neighborhood.  Sidewalks line the streets of the neighborhood, and if you drive through the addition you'll very often see home owners walking the dog or strolling for fun or exercise.

Kids in the neighborhood walk to the elementary, and take the bus to the combined Middle and Intermediate (5th through 8th grade) Indian Springs before heading off to Keller High.  -Cindy
