Housing Choices Near
Glenhope Elementary, Home of the Gators
Located in the Grapevine-Colleyville School District, Glenhope Elementary School is home to about 465 kindergarten through 5th graders who hail from neighborhoods in both the Grapevine and Colleyville city limits. The school is also the location of several ASPIRE classrooms, the GCISD's "school within a school" for highly gifted students.
Each year, new "Grapevine Gators" enter the school system looking forward to carrying on the legacy earned by those ahead of them. In 2001 Glenhope Elementary was added to the list of National Blue Ribbon Schools while 2005 and 2009 brought the Glenhope Gators the prestigious addition to the list of Texas Business and Education Coalition Honor Roll Schools.
The campus continues to shine as each year the elementary lands near the top of every state, community and public ranking system applied. Opened in the fall of 1995, the school is one of 11 elementary campuses in the GCISD.
Neighborhoods within the Glenhope attendance boundary include a wide range of housing choices; Collevyille's upscale and established Highland Meadows and the larger master planned community of Ross Downs fall within the school's boundaries as do more intimate housing additions like the gated Villas at Oak Pointe. -Cindy
