Living in Flower Mound's Bridlewood Addition

Bridlewood is a large master-planned golf course community made up of 11 smaller neighborhoods. You'll know you're there when you see the white stone entrance monument on Bridlewood Blvd. at Cross Timbers Rd.  You can't miss it.  It's topped by a cupola with the outline of a horse's head and crowned by a weather vane.

Bridlewood Golf Club Membership Plus Homeowners Association Amenities

Homeownership in Bridlewood brings with it membership in the privately owned championship Bridlewood Golf Club. Though privately owned, the club is open to the public.

In addition to the Pro Shop and Restaurant (try the wood-fired pizza) at the golf club, Bridlewood neighbors enjoy homeowners' association-provided amenities.

The Bridlewood Homeowners Association amenities include two community pools (home of the Bridlewood Torpedoes Swim Team), tennis and pickleball courts, a basketball court, and a fitness center located in the neighborhood community center.  That's in addition to the neighborhood parks and miles of trails that wind through the heavily treed terrain found in the Cross Timbers area.

The Balmoral neighborhood of Bridlewood in Flower Mound is just north of Bridlewood Golf Club on the east side of Bridlewood Blvd. Homes typically range in the 4000-4700 square foot range though there are a few homes in Balmoral just under 4000 and several over 5000 feet of living space.

The neighborhood is made up of one large loop of roadway, with homes on the western side of the "loop" backing to the golf course. This section of Bridlewood also offers a bit larger lot size. You'll see the Balmoral entry monument with dancing water fountains on the north side of Country Club Blvd.

On the northern edge of the Bridlewood Planned Community, Belmont is across the main boulevard from Downing Middle School. Homes range from about 2700 to 3700 square feet. You'll find lots of front porches among the homes on these family-friendly streets.

Bridlewood Farms

Estate-sized lots are the hallmark of Bridlewood Farms. One acre plus of land allows for a bit of breathing room here, and it's all within walking distance to Bridlewood Farms Stables. It's the perfect location for those looking to board close to home.

While there is access to Bridlewood Farms from the golf course portion of the planned community, many are familiar with the white stone monument located on Cross Timbers Blvd. just west of the community's main entrance.

Homes in Bridlewood Farms start around 4100 square feet and range to more than 7500 feet of living space.

Carriage Glen

Carriage Glen is east of Bridlewood Blvd. just north of the main entrance. Homes are most often between 3200 and 3800 sq. ft. in Carriage Glen. If you're looking for trees in Flower Mound, this is a portion of the planned community you do not want to miss.
