Birdville H.S. - Updated and Upgraded
Located in North Richland Hills on Mid Cities Blvd. just west of Precinct Line Rd, Birdville High School is the 3rd high school in the BISD. Originally opened in 1999, additions and renovations to the school were funded by a 2014 bond election that include expansion of the fine arts, athletic and science departments. These updates were completed just in time for the start of the 2016-2017 school year. The 1800 or so 9-12th grade Birdville Hawks benefiting from these upgrades hail from the feeder schools of Richland and Smithfield Middle Schools.
