Life in The Lakes of Argyle
Construction of new homes in the 139 homesite Lakes of Argyle development began early summer of 2018. Located west of 377 between Old Justin Road and Harpole Road, the 115-acre master-planned community offers residents greenbelts with mature trees and beautifully landscaped open spaces along with water features, fishing ponds and walking trails spread across 38 acres. Oh, and did we mention oversized lots? The Lakes of Argyle offers homesites that range from about ⅓ to ½ acre, adding to the spread out, quiet feel
Many home buyers are not familiar with the wealth of shopping, dining, and commuting options available to Argyle residents. Access to the Alliance area's golden corridor as well as Denton is a breeze along I-35 as the more rural aspect of the area means traffic still moves along the highway quickly. Many residents work north or south along the I-35 corridor. Less obvious and equally easy commuting destinations include Lewisville and several North Dallas locations. If you're not familiar you'll surely want to pull out a map and check the drive times.
Shopping and dining are plentiful too. Just 15 minutes down 407, for example, The Shops at Highland Village, and The Shops of Flower Mound, as well as The Highlands of Flower Mound, offer everything from Target and McDonalds to White House | Black Market and Rockfish Seafood Grill. There's a Whole Foods Grocery for the foodies in your family and a Barnes and Noble for you bookworms. And Highway 114 is about 15 minutes south if your commute takes you to the financial center the Westlake area has become. It's just another 5 minutes or so into Southlake if you crave a change of pace.
