The 640 acre development spans the cities of Argyle and Denton while crossing into both the Denton and Argyle School Districts. You’ll know if you’re in Argyle as the home addresses will contain 3 numbers.  In the Denton portions of Country Lakes, home addresses are 4 numbers.  All share the Argyle mailing address.

Built out over time, the neighborhood offers homes in established portions dating to 2003 while new home construction continues even beyond 2021. You’ll find the neighborhood between I-35 and 377 on the north side of the newly upgraded Crawford Road.

The Country Lakes neighborhood association is an active group hosting holiday and annual gatherings like National Night Out events and garage sales. The School Serving Argyle's Country Lakes Neighborhood

Denton ISD schools serving the community include Rayzor Elementary, McMath Middle School and Denton High. Children in the Argyle ISD portion of Country Lakes start at Hilltop Elementary before moving on to Argyle Middle and Argyle High.
